If you're a beginner who wants to learn about field sketching or an advanced illustrator who wants a reason to explore the Gardens of Golden Gate Park, join science illustrator Sami Chang as she explores the San Francisco Botanical Garden. You will learn some tips and tricks on how to get accurate sketches and try your hand at different methods of field sketching. This is a great opportunity to explore - or simply sit and enjoy - all of the natural beauty the gardens have to offer.
In this workshop, you will sketch and explore the San Francisco Botanical Garden's abundant collection of California native plants, from Iris douglasiana to Eschscholzia californica. Practice sketching while appreciating all the natural beauty that native California flora has to offer.
