Event: Voices Beyond Boundaries: Bridges Built in Brushstrokes Group Exhibition | Sasse Museum of Art | May 1 - June 27, 2026
[Pomona, May 2026] - Sasse Museum of Art presents Voices Beyond Boundaries: Bridges Built in Brushstrokes, featuring fifteen contemporary artists whose diverse practices demonstrate that meaningful connection emerges not from erasing difference, but from creating spaces where distinct voices can coexist and converse. Working across painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition runs May 1 - June 27, 2026.
The exhibition unfolds through three sections: Voices of Disruption, Voices of What Remains, and Voices of Reflection-creating a journey from the impact of change, through what endures, to a reflective threshold.
Exhibiting artists: Christine Walker, Delbar Azari, Aazam Irilian, Kayla Tange, Laura Corallo-Titus, Emily Shepard, Katherine Filice, Aline Mare, Catherine Ruane, Ada Pullini Brown, Arminee Chahbazian, Shelley Heffler, Charlie Milgrim, Lauren Mendelsohn-Bass, Ellen Friedlander
Curator: Aazam Irilian, contemporary abstract artist and Startup Studio member, has brought together works exploring how creative expression crosses cultural, material, and conceptual boundaries.
Sasse Museum of Art celebrates the transformative power of arts and culture, amplifying artistic voices from global communities while inspiring understanding and personal growth through art.
