Yom Hazikaron ceremony for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism, followed by a community sing-along.
The ceremony will take place at Freidenrich Community Park, on the OFJCC campus in Palo Alto. It will be held outdoors (warm clothing is recommended).
Please register in advance so that we can prepare accordingly for the expected number of participants and make the necessary security arrangements. Please refrain from bringing large bags in order to expedite the security check.
Immediately following the ceremony, a community sing-along (Shirei Lochamim) evening will take place in the hall.
Admission to both events is free of charge and recommended for ages 12 and up.
Please note that producing the community Yom HaZikaron ceremony involves significant costs, including sound and lighting equipment rentals, stage setup and technical staff. To help us hold a meaningful and respectful ceremony, we invite you to support the event. Any contribution, large or small, is greatly appreciated and will help cover the expenses and ensure we can continue to mark this important day together as a community.
