The Valley Dance Theatre tells a story, well, really 3 stories, all to live music. Spring Rep will open with Prokofiev 's iconic Peter and the Wolf to the delight of children of all ages. Act 1 will close with Arthur Sullivan's Pineapple Pole, a rousing romp of sailors and their girls and unrequited love all with a touch of humor. Act 2 will open with Gershwin's unforgettable American in Paris, featuring tapping gendarmes, the baker and his tart, the dog walker with her poodles plus the American and French couples falling in love. Spring Rep 2026 will close with Red, White, and Blue honoring the 5 branches of the military and their official songs and will close with John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever.
