Info:
San Francisco Public Library invites you to the opening reception of the Rooted in San Francisco: 10 Years of the Legacy Business Program exhibition, celebrating a decade of the City's Legacy Business Program and the longstanding small businesses that help shape the City's cultural identity and neighborhood life.
The exhibition highlights a selection of San Francisco Legacy Businesses through historic photographs, signage, storytelling and archival materials that reflect the creativity, resilience and community connections built across generations. From neighborhood institutions to family-run storefronts, the featured businesses represent the people and places that continue to define San Francisco's commercial corridors.
Presented in partnership with the City and County of San Francisco's Office of Small Business and the Legacy Business Program, the exhibition also explores the importance of preservation, continuity and local economic culture in a rapidly changing city.
