HAOPINAKA brings the spirit of aloha to Marin Art and Garden Center with Hawaiian guitars, ukuleles, and sweet vocal harmonies this July!
HAOPINAKA's beautiful and talented hula dancers will transport you from Marin Art and Garden Center's Gazebo Lawn stage to the islands.
HAOPINAKA was formed in 1998 when three friends from different backgrounds came together to share their love of Hawaiian music. The name "HAOPINAKA" is a combination of the words HAO-le (white guy), PI-noy (Filipino guy), and ka-NAKA (Hawaiian guy). And it is this unique friendship of cultures and styles that creates the sweet and lively sound of HAOPINAKA.
We are partnering with Ray's Catering this week to bring you fabulous Hawiian barbecue entrees grilled on site, plus delicious sides, all available for purchase.
Bring your picnic, refillable water bottle, blanket, low-backed lawn chairs (we provide folding chairs), family, and friends. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase! Outside alcohol will not be permitted.
