2,400 years ago, a man wrote a play about a king named Agamemnon who sacrificed his daughter for the sake of a war. With IPHIGENIA, Sharp & Fine blends dance, theater, and live music to cut open Euripides's tragedy and imagine how the woman at the center of it might eventually find her own voice and ask: What's the point of sacrifice?

With concept and direction by Megan and Shannon Kurashige, and performances by Eric Avery, Charmaine Butcher, Kira Fargas, Molly Levy, Hadassah Perry and Ryan Rouland Smith. Original music performed live by Jordan Glenn, Ben Davis, Jessica Folson, Cory Wright, and Matt Wrobel.
