Film noir meets E4TT's much-loved "Emigres & Exiles in Hollywood" series in a program featuring new tributes to film noir by modern movie mavens Germaine Franco ("Encanto") and Lars Deutsch ("The Passenger"), paired with music by four of the many talented mid-century emigre composers who fled to L.A. from a war-torn Europe and are often credited with helping found today's "Hollywood" sound: Arnold Schoenberg, Mikos Rozsa, Eugene Zador, and Erich Zeisl. Includes Schoenberg's atmospheric "Verklaerte Nacht" in a rarely heard piano trio arrangement.

Winner of The American Prize in 2021 for Chamber Music Performance, E4TT made its international debut in Berlin, was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Budapest in 2014 for a four-city tour in Hungary, and has performed at the Krakow Culture Festival, the Conservatorio Teresa Berganza in Madrid, and throughout California. Now in its 19th season, E4TT produces a weekly podcast, "For Good Measure," and has recorded five award-winning albums, with the sixth, "El Tiempo Latine," chamber music by today's classical Latine composers, just released.
