Thursday, March 4, 2004, Georgia will celebrate Black Businesses and Black Business Leaders during the 12th Annual AABE Day Celebration. The event will be held at the State Capitol with opening ceremony visits to the House of Representatives and the Senate, accented with remarks from lead elected officials. During the afternoon, GSAABO will host the “AABE Day Economic Summit,” a training sessions for African American businesses that features workshops by government agencies and fortune 500 companies on how African American Businesses can do business with them. The evening concludes with an awards banquet where business and community leaders are awarded for their outstanding leadership contributions and accomplishments. AABE Day is sponsored by GSAABO, Georgia's network of Black Business Associations and Organizations.
