As General Motor's Director of Diversity Marketing and Sales for the African American and Youth markets, Chris Robinson's experience in creating marketing strategies to reach diverse populations has helped General Motors become a leader in diversity marketing. Chris’s responsibilities at GM include developing a library of customer segment data and then parlaying the results into short and long-term business plans for each individual customer segment.
Prior to his current position, Chris spent a year and a half as the Director of Marketing Communications for OnStar. His presentation will include how diverse populations can enhance an overall marketing plan, how the populations are selected and what channels are used to effectively reach diverse audiences. Chris will also share how advertising and promotions are created to reach the African American and Youth markets for General Motors.
