Rhythm & Blues singer Freddie Jackson and the Blues & Soul musical group Hil St. Soul, featuring Hilary Mwelwa, will perform a benefit concert Tuesday, July 20, in Jacksonville as a part of the national conference of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the Florida Theatre at 128 E. Forsyth St. The concert tickets are $22.50 and $27.50 and are available through Ticketmaster.
The concert will mark the end of a July 18-19 conference at the Adams Mark Hotel at 225 E. Coastline Dr. in downtown Jacksonville. Black criminal justice officials will convene in the city to discuss issues about their industry and profession.
