Info:
Unlike any in the country according to Black Enterprise, this expo focuses on minority-to-minority and minority-to-majority contracting and purchasing opportunities. The expo will feature 100 Black and majority owned companies in the Tri-State. Statistics released by the Department of Commerce show that Black businesses lag behind Hispanics, Asian, American Indian and Alaskan Natives in revenues, growth and employees. These are disconcerting facts that this expo will address. And, we contend, it is time to make a change. Black business owners will be encouraged to do business with other Black business owners while continuing to seek opportunities to do business with majority firms. You'll want to hold this date on your calendar and plan to attend: Friday, September 17, 2004 at the Xavier University Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sponsored in part by Procter & Gamble, Bank One and Cinergy. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Call (513) 751-9900.
