2004 Open Mic Writers’ Convention where writing Idols will compete for the Crystal 2004 Open Mic Writer’s Award. The convention will be held from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the Wesley Chapel Library’s Great Conference Center located at 2861 Wesley Chapel Road. There are nineteen (19) 2-minute Open Mic contestant slots available for the competition segment. There is a $20 non-refundable contestant entry fee that has to be received by October 11th, 2004. Contestant positions go very quickly! Call 770-987-1611 to verify availability and purchase slots – More information available at www.ybonie.com, forms can be faxed or picked up at the office. Rules - 19 contestants will recite two minutes of an original script: poetry, article, prose, novel, music, etc. Seeking three judges.
