Info:
"Open source isn't about a license, it's about human interaction and individual motivation", says Jason Hunter. Jason has seen open source from all sides. He has contributed to open source projects both as a contributor (Tomcat, Ant) and project leader (JDOM). He has helped commercial projects go open (Tomcat, OpenOffice.org), and helped design ways for open source projects to absorb commercial codebases. As Apache's representative to the Java Community Process executive committee, Jason established a landmark agreement with Sun allowing open source Java.
Co-hosts: Computer History Museum, CSPA, and ACM SF Bay Area Chapter.
