Classified as a moderate hike because of a bit of incline on the stretch back, this otherwise easy, beautiful 3.6 mile hike is perfect for a sunny day & a picnic!
We might see pink-flowering currant, thimbleberry, huckleberry, honeysuckle, madrone, & tanoak. ..(trees). Through some breaks in the trees, on a clear day the view stretches north all the way to Mount Tamalpais.
This is a Fat Sunday hike so we're not racing. It will be a nice 'smell the roses' pace. A social picnic/hike in other words.
BRING: A lunch, sturdy walking shoes, plenty of water, layered clothing, sunglasses, sunblock.
Meet Page Mill/280 Park & Ride. Attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver.
