The 2nd annual Black College All-Star Classic will be held in the heart of Middle Georgia, Macon on April 7 – 9, 2005. The classic is the highlight of black college basketball with over two dozen players representing over 15 historically black colleges and universities.
The classic weekend kicks off with a meet and greet for players and coaches, a free college fair and teen summit and ending with the draft on Sunday, April 10. “We are excited to bring a well-rounded event to Macon,” states Leroy McMath, league President. “The entire community will get a chance to see what the WBA is all about and scouts will get a chance to see the wealth that Macon has to offer.”
Last year, scouts from the NBA, NBDL, and CBA were in attendance and are expected to come back to screen this year’s players.
