The International Festival–Institute at Round Top, founded by internationally acclaimed concert pianist James Dick in 1971, is an intensive six-week summer program for advanced orchestra and chamber music study and performance. From the beginning of June to mid-July each summer, talented young musicians from colleges and conservatories around the world perform concerts, attend master classes and study privately with nationally and internationally-renowned teachers, performers and conductors in the idyllic surroundings of rural central Texas.
