The 18th annual Wings Over Houston Airshow Festival, one of the top airshows in the nation, is landing at Ellington Field. This year’s show will feature The Airpower Armada Demonstration featuring more than 100 World War II Warbirds in a massed flyover honoring the pilots and crews of the Army Air Corps, Navy and Marines of World War II. Spectators also will be dazzled by the annual performance of Tora! Tora! Tora!, a reenactment by vintage aircraft of the air attack on Pearl Harbor that resulted in America’s entry into World War II. During this spectacular show, spectators also will see up close the planes that made the movie, Pearl Harbor.
