Pirates, Thieves and Innocents is a two (2) day symposium. Day one will frame some of the pertinent issues surrounding this year’s theme. A keynote address by Clifford Lynch (the CIP’s 2004-2006 Intellectual Property Scholar) will set the stage for three lively panel discussions. The agenda for day two will focus on presenting and discussing possible solutions to some of the knotty questions of copyright infringement, featuring an address by an expert in the field of higher education, followed by a breakout session and two further panel discussions. Symposium participants will have the opportunity and be encouraged to engage the issues and solutions with expert panelists.
