Jazz-ma-tazz, a jazz concert celebrating Juneteenth, will feature local jazz musicians: Galvin Crisp, Herb Stephens, Leroi Roberson, Reggie Buie and Calvin Napper. Guest vocalists include Carlotta Samuels-Flemming and Jackie Sinclair. Carlos Fowler, will open with Gospel jazz. Storyteller and musician, Logie Meachum, will MC the program. Jazz lovers will be treated to a wonderful evening of music and performances. During the evening, a “Cake Walk” is planned, reminiscent of the first international African American dance craze.
