History comes alive at the 11th Annual Competition Powwow of the American Indian Education Center on June 17, 18, 19, 2005 - FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND. The age-old hearbeat of powerful drums will beat over Lake Erie. American Indian Singers will raise their voices in the chants and songs of their ancient grandfathers. Dancers of all ages, wearing brilliant regalia, will turn dip and spin in blurs of flying color continuing traditions as old as mankind itself. Feel the power and dignity of people true to itself. Share the energy of centuries past that still thrives today. June 17th Native American Concert featuring local artists, traditional food, jewelry, craft and art vendors.
