CelticFest takes place annually in Jackson Mississippi at the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum which is located at the intersection of the I-55 expressway and Lakeland Drive (Hwy 25). Because much of CelticFest is scheduled to take place indoors in air conditioned auditoriums, CelticFest is held RAIN or SHINE! Festivities begin Friday night in earnest. The stages will be packed with musicians, the dance floors alive with dancers, and the craic ("crack", Irish for 'good conversation') cracking... Don't miss it! Enjoy Celtic music, dances, foods and culture. View displays by Celtic artists, educational workshops, lots of family and children's activities and plenty of concessions. Live entertainment
