How would you like to learn more about African-American History in the Mid-South and share that knowledge with school groups? Docents will be trained to assist students on the tour through the history exhibits telling the stories of seven amazing African-Americans who lived in Memphis between the years of 1829 and 1919. The Pink Palace Museum needs volunteers to bring these stories to life and help school groups (grades 4-8) experience this wonderful history. The “African-American History Exhibit Tours” for school groups begin this school year, and this new program will kick off at the Pink Palace’s 75th Anniversary Party on Sunday, August 21st
