Info:
The Department of Defense (DoD) and major defense companies spend billions of dollars each year on subcontracts. Congressman Robin Hayes, in partnership with the Cumberland County Business Council, will be hosting a Defense Trade Show and Government Procurement Workshop to help you become more involved in doing business with the DoD and these large companies. Representatives from about 50 large defense contracting firms and several DoD organizations will be available to answer your questions on how to get subcontracts and also work with the government. In addition, there will be workshops held on Department of Defense procurement and doing business with the government to answer your specific questions. Congressman Hayes wants to increase the visibility and knowledge within NC about subcontracting opportunities and provide local businesses with more information about government procurement.
