With more than 2,500 albums to his credit, Ron Carter may well be the world's most recorded bassist. In his 45-year career, he has performed with a range of artists, from Miles Davis to Eric Dolphy, from Lena Horne to James Brown, and from Bill Evans to A Tribe Called Quest. Mr. Carter is equally successful as a band leader, anchoring extraordinary and varied sessions with commanding technique and impeccable taste. Joining Mr. Carter onstage will be Stephen Scott on piano, Steve Kroon, percussion, and Payton Crossley on drums.
