Representatives of the State Department, including Ambassadors and other senior-level members, will be present in an effort to recruit more Latinos, African Americans, Women, and other people with diverse skill sets, educational and cultural backgrounds. All interested persons are invited to attend and must RSVP to obtain entry.
You will have the opportunity to meet U.S. diplomats, entry-level professionals and interns who will share their experiences about life and work with the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. and overseas. Network with your peers while learning about careers in the Foreign Service. You'll discover how your current experience, knowledge and skills can transition into one of the most unique careers in the world.
The Atlanta, Georgia event will be the sixteenth held in this series, and is part of a national effort to ensure that the U.S. Department of State looks more like the face of America.
