Info:
The Egyptian princess Amneris intends to marry Radames, the next leader of the Egyptian Army. But Radames is in love with Aida, an Ethiopian princess who is an enslaved prisoner of war. When Amneris discovers her competition, she stops at nothing to destroy them both. Verdi's triumphant opera will feature a star-studded cast, including baritone Mark Delavan and new international phenom Antonello Palombi.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles projected above the stage.
Aida's songs consist of strong lyrics about real life that most fans can relate to with little trouble. Her music easily mixes folk-rock and acoustics with guitar-led tunes. A New York native, Aida first learned to play the piano and then the guitar.
