The Presentation School is pleased to invite the Bay Area community to hear world-renowned educational consultant Dr. Leonard Sax speak on why gender matters and what parents and teachers need to know about gender differences in education.
Dr. Leonard Sax MD PhD is the best-selling author of several books: Why Gender Matters, Boys Adrift, and Girls on the Edge. He is a psychologist, a family physician and an internationally renowned speaker on gender differences. In his books Boys Adrift, and Girls on the Edge, he explores the factors affecting achievement and motivation, and addresses how parents and educators can help girls and boys achieve their full potential.
Dr. Sax has spoken on gender differences for more than two hundred schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Scotland, as well as speaking at Harvard University, the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and many other leading schools, colleges, and universities. He has been a featured guest on the TODAY Show, CNN, NPR, the CBC, BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, TV NZ, and many other national and international media. The School will host an Open House on November 16th from 6-7pm and the lecture will start at 7pm. It is open to all with no admission charge. Attendees are asked to register in advanced online or by phone.
