2nd Annual Art in the Garden...Please join us Friday evening, July 15 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a special Art in the Garden Preview Party, Artists Reception, and Sale. You will be entertained this evening by a strolling violinist, Olena Komirenko. You are invited to add your special stroke to the 'progressive painting' coordinated by artist Karen Wong. Someone in attendance will be the lucky winner of this unique abstract painting. In addition to enjoying the exhibition and talking with the artists, including Elizabeth Murray, you will have the first opportunity to purchase the exhibited art. You will enjoy Chocolate Desserts with compatible Wine Tastings. Enjoy a delightful time at Gamble Garden with friends, music, art, wine, and chocolate. It doesn't get much better than this for a summertime evening outing. Reservations are required-tickets $25 and can be purchased online at www.gamblegarden.org or by calling the office.
Come Watch Art Happen on Saturday, July 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday is Free and Open to the Public. Stroll along our garden paths, view the exhibition in the Carriage House, Main House, and Tea House Patio, enjoy an ice cream treat or other food from vendors (Oaxaca Kitchen 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), and visit with friends. The Exhibition and Sale continues until 4:00 p.m. As a special treat, Elizabeth Murray, artist and author of Monet's Passion will be creating her art on Saturday. She uses the same six colors in her pallet for her paintings as Claude Monet used in his masterpieces as described in her book, Monet's Passion.
