The Day of the Horse, the brainchild of two Woodside horse lovers who want to bring the community together in support of the horse, is a chance to pay tribute to our equine friends with a day of FUN and FESTIVITIES. This year's theme is MARDI GRAS!! And there will be a BBQ at the end of the trail! Join the nearly 2,000 people who flock to Woodside on the second Saturday of October to enjoy a glimpse of rural America right here in Silicon Valley!
Format The event has two main components, The Horse Fair in downtown Woodside and the Progressive Trail Ride for experienced riders and their horses. The event is open to the public. Admission to the Horse Fair is free while a small registration fee/donation is required for the Progressive Trail Ride which is one of the largest trail rides in the Western US!Registration for the trail Ride: http://www.whoa94062.org/images/WHOA-Docs/RegForm.pdf
