Acoustic Son, featuring lead singers Carolyn Walker Shaw and Ken Kingsbury, and lead guitarist Rick English, bring their lush harmonies and driving rhythms back to San Francisco upon the release of their third CD, Cross the Line. Produced by leading Bay Area musician, producer and songwriter Bonnie Hayes, Cross the Line weaves their thoughtful lyrics with catchy melodies that will keep you humming all day. Acoustic Son has played in sold out clubs all over the Bay Area, and their second CD, Time in the Middle, was featured on KFOG's Acoustic Sunrise.
Their music is strong and the melodies catchy as they weave through relationship, spirituality, and the strong connection to each other they have in their music. Acoustic Rock, with alt-country pop is what folks describe as their style and brand. Also performing is Dan Lucas on drums, Scott Underwood on bass and Mark Jacobson BU vocals.
