We are excited to introduce APTi's 2011 Conference Program. Our intent is to offer relevant and timely information that practitioners can apply, and strive to provide innovative, stimulating sessions in an exploration of the daily uses of type including:
1. Improving relationships. 2. Fostering type development in people of all ages. 2. Improving career choices and work flow. 3. Boosting management and leadership skills. 4. Finding a deeper meaning to life in general.
Continuing Education Units 8 MBTI(R) Master Practitioner CEs for Main Conference! (NBCC and APA CEs Pending - MBTI(R), NBCC and APA CEs for PCWs Pending)
Pre-Conference Workshops (PCWs): (Full day) Pre-conference workshops are one day in length and take place prior to the opening of the conference. In general, they provide an in depth opportunity to examine a specific application, problem area or topic within the field of psychological type.
"60-30" Concurrent Sessions Concurrent sessions are individual, group, or round-table discussions of type theory,applications or experiences. This conference will feature a different kind of 90-minute concurrent session, with the goal of providing all participants with more flexibility to get the most out of the conference. Here's how these sessions will work: * Presenters will prepare a 60-minute workshop and an additional 30-minute continuation of that workshop * After the first 60-minute block, attendees will be free to
- Remain for the additional 30 minutes of the workshop - Move to a different workshop - Continue the conversations in the hallway - Use the time for networking * There will be a full 30-minute break after each 90-minute concurrent session block.
