As of November 2010, there were over 17,000 healthcare apps available for smartphones and tablets, many of which are for recording healthcare data. An electronic blood pressure cuff that connects to iPhones and iPads is sold online and in Apple Retail Stores and connects with an app that displays graphs and shares the data.
