Members of the Telecom Council's Service Provider and Investor Forums meet quarterly to hear startup pitches and to discuss current trends. This quarter, we will introduce 10 pre-screened, Swedish startups to the carrier, vendor, and telecom VC community. Dialogue before and after presentations, during breaks, and over lunch ensures that all participants have an opportunity to connect.
Our quarterly Telecom Council Investor Forum serves 3 main purposes: 1.To connect carriers who are investing time, energy, and/or capital into telecom startups with the larger telecom-focused venture community - including vendor funds and VCs. 2.To review pre-qualified telecom startups for new products, services, and investment opportunities. 3.To initiate dialogue and relationships between all the investors in telecom - including the carriers, the vendors, the VCs, and the entrepreneurs.
We maintain the executive and intimate nature of these events by making them available only to our Telecom Council Investor Forum members and their guests. Participants include Telecom Council members who are active investors: venture capital firms, corporate capital, angels, investment groups from the Service Provider Forum including AT&T, British Telecom, NTT, DoCoMo, France Telecom, Swisscom, Vodafone and many other fixed and wireless carriers from Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
We encourage companies who can add value to these meetings to join the Council, and we can accommodate invited guests for $300. A description of the Investor Forum and membership options can be found at www.telecomcouncil.com. If you would like to recommend a colleague who is not yet a member of the Investor Forum, invitations may be requested by responding to this e-mail or calling the Council at: 408-834-7933.
