This 70 hour course combines theory with practical instruction through lecture and practical skill training. The program covers the broad spectrum of electrocardiography, the art and science of EKG foundations and applications, EKG unit operation and troubleshooting, lead placement utilizing twelve lead EKG, use and understanding of EKG grid paper, recognizing normal and abnormal EKG patterns in all twelve leads and plotting EKG axis as well as the more complex topics including hypertrophy, myocardial infarction and pacemakers.
Starting Pay $15 - $20 per hour
