The Bank of America Atlanta Football Classic presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta is one of the nation's largest Black college football games pitting Florida A&M University against Southern University on the gridiron.
The event is also 100 Black Men of Atlanta's largest fundraiser for its mentoring, academic support and scholarship program, Project Success. But the Classic is far more than just a game between two fine Black colleges. It's an HBCU and an Atlanta tradition!
This year’s football classic matches up the FAMU Rattlers against the Southern University Jaguars and will kick off on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Georgia Dome at 3:30 pm.

2011 Youth Symposium Presented by MCDONALD'S •Event Location: B.E.S.T Academy High School •Event Date: Thursday, September 22, 2011 •Event Time: 9:30a.m. – 2:00p.m. •Description: Boys to Men Male Empowerment Seminar on Thursday, September 22, 2011. The purpose of this program is to provide an atmosphere that will foster intellectual exchange by addressing the educational, emotional, life skills and aspirations of African-American males young and old. Additionally, the objective of this seminar is to establish communication and networking among our young African-American males and their older African- American male counter-parts that will foster an environment that is catered to establishing goals and initiatives that will provide a solution to the issues that our young African American men face. Celebrate Health Celebrate Living Fair presented by Abbott Laboratories •Event Location: The Georgia World Congress Center, Building C, Hall C-1 •Event Date: Friday, September 23, 2011 •Event Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. •Exhibitors Booths Available!! Download Registration Form •Description: More than 2,000 individuals attended the 2010 fair where blood pressure, cholesterol, dental, diabetes, glucose, HIV rapid test, serum creatinine and vision tests/screenings were provided. Vendors provided their services and showcased their products to the attendees in an effort to help people get fit and stay healthy.

College Fair •Event Location: Georgia World Congress Center - Building C Atrium •Event Date: Saturday, September 24, 2011 •Event Time: 10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. •Description: The College Fair is a free event geared toward high school juniors and seniors interested in attending college. Admissions and financial aid representatives from over 50 colleges and/or universities around the Southeast are on hand to answer your questions and provide important information on enrollment at their respective institutions. Students are encouraged to bring copies of any test scores they may have (ACT, SAT, etc.) available. Registration is requested.
