“Freak Out” is the theme for the 14th Annual Trick or Treat Festival for Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa and includes a bubbling cauldron of freakish fun. Kids in costume can get a pre-Halloween Night fix with daytime trick or treating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the vast Market Place with merchants and various stops along the way offering an abundance of goodies to keep their sweet tooth satisfied. The first 500 kids also receive a FREE gift.

What Freaks You Out?

Show us in the I Scream for Ice Cream Contest at Noon presented by Farrell’sÒ Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants and win a $50 Farrell’s Zoo Party for first place, $30 worth of Farrell’s Ice Cream for second place and $10 worth for third place. All contestants receive a free ice cream cone! Limited to 30 contestants. Advance sign ups available by sending inquiry to Scream4IceCream@mail.com.

A Come as Your Favorite Freak Costume Contest ( ages 13 years and older) will be at 1:30 p.m. where contestants show their creativity, showmanship and attempt to freak out the audience to win Monster High Collectibles.

Scream and Costume Contest hosted by “The Art of Schmoozing” author and Sideshow Comedic Magician, Aye Jaye. Trophies also awarded in both contests.
