Maestro Eric Kujawsky conducts an exciting World Premiere: Local composer Dan Wyman's concerto called "Heart's Gate," a tribute to the Golden Gate Bridge as it celebrates its 75th year. Mark Goldstein will play the virtuosic solo part composed for the Marimba Lumina, a versatile synthesizer laid out like a marimba, played with multiple mallets. Also on the program: The delectable and rarely-heard complete score to Stravinsky's first neoclassical work, the ballet Pulcinella, with soloists Theresa Cardinale, Brian Thorsett and Richard Fey. Assistant Conductor Kristin Link will perform William Schuman's popular evocation of a younger America, Three Places in New England.
