Info:
Do you want to find out if you've got something that will grab the attention of investors? Do you know what type of investors you should pursue?
Our panel of investors will listen to your Micro Pitcha short, clear and compelling 20 second summary of what your business does. The panel will discuss how clear and how compelling the business concept might be to an investor. And we will suggest the best type of investment for you to pursue-angel, superangel, venture, strategic, etc.
An example of a Micro Pitch: Hi, my name is John Doe, and I'm CEO of LegalSearch. LegalSearch is Google for the legal profession. We let lawyers and paralegals search for any law, infraction or finding and get all the information they need much faster and at a fraction of the price of the legacy research services.
An added bonus to entrepreneurs who pitch: The panelists have committed to providing feedback within one week of the event on any questions Pitchers send them.
To present a pitch see instructions below.
If you are an entrepreneur, but not yet ready to present a pitch, you are still encouraged to register and attend. By listening to the pitches, the Q&A, and the critiques you will learn key points to develop your own effective pitch.
If you are an investor, come and listen to the entrepreneurs' pitches-you never know where you'll find your next deal-and find out how our panel of investors rate the pitches.
Chair & Moderator: Bill Reichert, Managing Director, Garage Technology Ventures
Panelists: John Hall, Horizon Ventures Marc Burch, Burch Ventures Ron Weissman, Chairman, Software SIG, Band of Angels Bob Rees, Startup Capital Ventures
