Happy Mother's Day!

On this special day, I pay tribute, honor, salute, spotlight, thank, and wish a Happy Mother's Day and continued blessings to my incredibly special and wonderful mother (Olivia W. Bland) and only biological sister (Trenell Bland Green) and ALL of you incredible women, whom are also very special and beloved mothers, or mother-like.

Some of you, like my mother and sister, have and continue to be a tremendous gift and immense blessing (as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, niece) to your families through your unwavering love and support, numerous roles and responsibilities, tremendous selflessness, countless sacrifices, tireless efforts, friendship, inspiration, motivation, guidance, humility, etc.

Some of you may not be biological or adoptive or foster or step-mothers today. Nevertheless, you are an equally cherished and appreciated incredible lady whom likely has and continues to play vital and significant roles in the lives of children and others through your inspiration, contributions, and impact as role models, daughters, aunts, nieces, mentors, big sisters, volunteers, friends, motivators, etc.

Undoubtedly, you each are providing that special feminine touch in the lives of your family members or others, and are immensely special, essential, and greatly appreciated.

While we as men or boys may not always understand and cannot directly relate, at least some of us (smile) truly admire, applaud, appreciate, love, respect, honor, value, cherish, and salute you ladies as the incredible and unique gems and special gifts that you are.

I wish each of you and other ladies continued blessings and well wishes, and a very positive, pleasant and enjoyable Mother's Day.
