Each year, during the summer months of June through September, Jason Lary Presents delivers legendary jazz impresarios such as Jonathan Butler, Rachelle Ferrell, George Duke, Joe Sample, Alex Bugnon, Michael Henderson, and more to the metro Atlanta community. The Lithonia Jazz Concert Series has proven to be the City of Lithonia’s ultimate jazz entertainment experience. Here is where the upper echelon of Jazz, R&B, Funk, and Spoken Word genres diverge to deliver riveting, unforgettable performances that ease the mind and soothe the soul.

Acting on a referral, concert promoter Jason Lary contracted with Impresario Lifestyle to coordinate the personal and business affairs of the artists he signs to perform during the 2005 jazz concert series. “Ensuring that the artists are well taken care of before and after the concert is a very important element of the series,” says Jason. “I wouldn’t trust such an important function to just anyone. Impresario Lifestyle came highly referred by one of my business colleagues.”

With an awesome roster of artists lined up, the 2005 concert series is sure to be a huge hit among metro Atlanta concert goers. MaShelle Epps, President of Impresario Lifestyle, understands the importance of rolling out the red carpet for celebrities. “A-list entertainers can be extremely particular about the tiniest details of their performance,” comments MaShelle. “The slightest deviation from plan can throw them off kilter right when they need to focus most.”

“After my initial meeting with Jason and his staff at their corporate office in Lithonia, I saw first hand just how committed the staff was to the success of the company. I was also impressed with Jason’s integrity - something you don’t always find in the entertainment business,” MaShelle explained. “Before I agree to partner with any company, I have to know that they exemplify the same high level of professionalism and client service that Impresario Lifestyle stands for. In describing what the job entails, MaShelle stated, “We take care of the artists from the time we pick them up from the airport all the way through the end of the event. We ensure they get to scheduled appointments like autograph signings and radio interviews on time and make sure they have whatever they need prior to and during the performance. We also handle any emergencies that may arise. It seems glamorous but it’s a tough job often requiring 12 hour days.” In the personal assistant business, you have to be ready for anything. The ability to think quickly on your feet and handle last minute emergencies is a critical part of assisting celebrities.
