Partners with Minority Professional Network
to Host
Diversity Career Networking Night

WHAT: |
U. S. DEPARTMENT OF
STATE DIVERSITY CAREER NETWORKING NIGHT
Representatives of the U.S. State Department,
including Ambassadors and other
senior-level members, will be visiting
Manhattan, New York in an effort to recruit
more Women, African Americans, Latinos and
other people of color.
All interested persons are
invited and encouraged to attend.
The New York event will be the 11th held in
this series since the U.S. State
Department and MPN partnered to initiate this national effort to
ensure that the U.S. State Department looks more like the face of America.
Previous events have been held in Houston, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego,
San Antonio, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Raleigh, and Detroit. Future events will be
held in other highly diverse
major
U.S. metro areas.

Ambassadors, Foreign Service Diplomats, and entry-level officers from the
U.S. State Department will be available to speak with attendees about the exciting career
opportunities awaiting them in the State Department.
