S. STATE DEPARTMENT BRINGS DIVERSITY EFFORT TO LOS ANGELES
Partners with Minority
Professional Network to Host Diversity Career Networking Night
WHAT:
U. S. STATE DEPARTMENT’S DIVERSITY CAREER NETWORKING NIGHT
Representatives of the State Department,
including Ambassadors and other senior-level members, will be visiting
Los Angeles in efforts to recruit more African-Americans, Latinos and other
people of color into the Foreign Service to help promote U.S. diplomacy
abroad. This is a part of a national effort to ensure that the U.S.
Department of State looks more like the face of America.

senior Foreign Service Diplomats, Ambassadors and entry-level officers from
the State Department
will be available to speak with attendees about the exciting career
opportunities awaiting them in the
State Department, including:
