Partners with Minority Professional Network
in conjunction with
Greater Miami Minority Chamber of Commerce
to Host
Diversity Career Networking Night
WHAT:
U. S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE DIVERSITY CAREER NETWORKING NIGHT
Representatives of the State Department,
including Ambassadors and other senior-level members, will be visiting
Miami, Florida in an effort to recruit more African-Americans, Latinos and other
people of color into the Foreign Service to help promote U.S. diplomacy
abroad. This is a part of a national effort to ensure that the U.S.
Department of State looks more like the face of America.
WHO:
Ambassadors, Foreign Service
Diplomats, and entry-level officers
from the State Department
will be available to speak with attendees about the exciting care
opportunities awaiting them in the State Department.
