Women of Power was founded in 1997 under the anointed direction of Pastor B.J. Relefourd. She realized that there was a need for a healing ministry in Gwinnett County, GA, located in the North Metro Atlanta area. . Women of Power is not concerned with denominations. It is an organization of numerous cultures, religious backgrounds and ethnic creeds. This organization sponsors conferences, prayer breakfasts, luncheons and numerous outreach programs.
Women of Power is under the covering of Vision of Life Ministries a not for profit 501C3 organization.
