Info:
Celebrate the first day of fall with song, puppetry, saxophones and brass bands as Revels and the Charles River Conservancy present the 5th annual RiverSing across the Charles.
Perched atop the Weeks Bridge, a massed chorus led by Revels music director George Emlen and puppets Oshun and Poseidon, will join a thousand voices along the riverbanks in songs of the season. A saxophone trio will converse on land and water and strolling musicians will add additional atmosphere. Picnics are encouraged.
Gather at 5pm in Winthrop Square for early entertainments, then march in our Grand Processional down to the River. The singing will last until 7:30pm.
