Dance professionals from across the country and around the Bay will come together Saturday, September 20, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Bay Area's oldest and most respected dance education, community and professional training organization: Shawl-Anderson Dance Center. The gala evening will be held at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 2727 College Avenue in Berkeley, beginning at 5 pm and will feature performances by choreographers Sonya Delwaide, Paufve Dance, and Savage Jazz, live music by Little Jonny and the Giants, a silent auction, historic photos on display and a buffet dinner by Small Pleasures Catering.
