You'll have an opportunity to enjoy authentic Gullhah/Geechee edu*tainment as well as arts & crafts throughout the day. Queen Quet Chieftess of The Gullah/Geechee Nation will be featured among the day's presenters. There will be programs for all ages to enjoy as well as LIVE entertainment, local Daufuskie Island food and a marshmallow roast at 3 pm around the "Festival Bonfire". The day ends with a 4 pm Grand Finale concert by Da Shiek (one of L.A.'s up and coming stars) and oysters roasted over the 'Festival Bonfire". $5 Adult/Children 13+ General Admission. Free Children 12 and younger. Grand Finale $10 Adults/Children 13+. $5 Children 4-12 years. FREE Children 3 & under. Or arrive prior to 3 and the Grand Finale is included in the general admission ticket. Gate opens at 10:30 am. Proceeds go toward the preservation and restoration of Daufuskie's Gullah/Geechee culture.
