Guests strolling back to the past all dressed in zoot suits, pearls, feathers and boas represented in Idlewild attire will vicariously spend a night in Harlem with upscale live music entertainment. Sensational performances by Atlanta's best Rhapsody La chic' featuring electric violinist Delores Major, and special guest trumpeter Melvin Miller and saxophonist Ron James will mesmerize the audience. Adrion Bell, Myna Clayton and Charlena Nutal will blow you away with sultry vocals, and electrifying dance performances by Terrence "Taps" Bennet, the Peachstate Steppers, and the SAVOY dancers will keep you trotting two-steps and line dancing from the SAVOY era. Dinner will be represented from the era while vendors will provide everything from souvenir photos to 1920,s candy and products. Winners of the "Creative Dress" contest will walk away with a treasure chest valued at $300. Proceeds will benefit the Howey Hudson Lowe Foundation's "Making Possibilities Visible" programs and initiaves.
