  On January 19, 2009, we are holding our second annual Mitzvah Day - a day of service - honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We hope you will join us and unite with your neighbors in an effort to better the community. Please register in advance at paloaltojcc.org/mitzvah.

Projects are geared toward all ages so that families and friends can work side by side. Choose from a wide variety of activities, including meal preparation at homeless shelters, environmental clean-up at local beaches and nature preserves, visiting residents of a senior center, creating cards and gift packages for American and Israeli soldiers on active duty abroad, and building affordable housing.
